The MLS was established to promote interest in the Genus Lilium and its culture among amateur gardeners and commercial growers in the eastern seaboard states. We meet a few times a year usually in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas, and welcome new members to attend our activites. Several MLS members are willing to give talks on lilies for garden clubs too.

Lilies add an exotic and sophisticated touch to any garden style or patio. Join us for a year or two and discover lilies and the simple pleasures they offer, such as growing lilies from seeds and scales, showing a few stems in a local show, or learning about species lilies that thrive in our region's gardens.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our activities. Bring your questions about planting bulbs, caring for and hybridizing lilies!
